You trace a spiral on screen, and the task records how closely your line followed the template — a neutral measurement to keep and share, never a rating or a result.

What this task looks at
This task looks at a traced line — you follow a spiral shape on the touchscreen with your finger, and it records the path your finger took.
What you'll do
A spiral template appears on screen. You trace along it once. If this is difficult, that's fine — the task is skippable and never treats a difficulty as a failure.
What it records
Neutral measurements of the line you drew, compared with the template shape:
- Path deviation — how far, on average, your traced line sat from the template (a distance measure, in screen units).
- Smoothness — a figure describing how smooth or jagged the traced line was.
Each is shown with its units and the method version used, plus a short note on what the task looked at. These describe the drawn line only.
What it does not do
It does not tell you whether your tracing is good, poor, normal, or a sign of anything. It records numbers about a line; your clinician interprets them.
Not the same as
This is an original, own-authored task. It is not and is not equivalent to clinical spiral/Archimedes drawing ratings or MDS-UPDRS spiral/handwriting items. Those are licensed or clinician-rated; this task does not reproduce them.
